The trailer I posted shows some ideas we're working on. We want to understand more about the Vedic cosmology and how the ancient astrologers of India saw the world. Of course, as truth-seekers, we're interested in much more. We want to go beyond the subjective and objective planes of material reality to uncover the super-subjective planes of spiritual consciousness: the land of dedication. My first stop in discovering more about the land of dedication is the Lahta Yoga Center in Saint Petersburg. I'm leaving on Thursday, Dec. 4 from Mexico City to Cancun to Frankfurt on Condor Airlines. Arriving Frankfurt the next day in the afternoon, I'll arrive at the airport in Saint Petersburg at about 7:30 at night. There I'll meet with my guide Prithu Das and we'll see the Russian version of Gaudiya Vaishnava, Chaitanya Saraswat, dedication. I'm there to celebrate the birthday-appearance day of Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaja, the great follower and friend of my Guru Bhakti Rakshaka Shridhar Dev Goswami. Strangely, according to the solar calendar, our birthdays coincide. Govinda Maharaja was born December 17, 1929. I was born December 17, 1953. But the great souls calculate their appearance day based on the lunar calendar, so we'll celebrate Govinda Maharaja's birthday on December 8th. I will do my best to remember him.

St. Petersburg in the snow

Трейлер («Мистерии Ангкора») иллюстрирует некоторые идеи, над которыми мы работаем. Мы стремимся углубить наше понимание ведийской космологии и взгляда древних индийских астрологов на мир. Конечно, нас, искателей истины, интересуют глубины. Мы хотим выйти за пределы субъективной и объективной сфер материальной реальности и открыть измерение духовного сознания, измерение Высшего Субъекта: землю преданности. Первая остановка на пути поиска этой земли произойдёт в йога-центре в Лахте, в Санкт-Петербурге. 4 декабря, в четверг, я лечу по маршруту Мехико-сити – Канкун – Франкфурт рейсом авиакомпании Condor Airlines. Во Франкфурте я окажусь во второй половине дня 5 декабря, а вечером того же дня, в 7:30 я уже буду в Санкт-Петербурге. В Петербурге меня ждёт встреча с моим проводником, Притху Дасом, и с преданностью в линии Чайтанья Сарасвата Гаудийя Вайшнавов в России. В Петербурге состоится празднование дня рождения (явления) Бхакти Сундара Говинды Махараджа, великого последователя и друга моего Гуру, Бхакти Ракшака Шридхара Дева-Госвами. Странно, но, согласно солнечному календарю, мы родились в один день с Говиндой Махараджем. Он родился 17 декабря 1929 года, я – 17 декабря 1953 года. Однако, когда речь идёт о великих личностях, подобных ему, то день их явления определяется по лунному календарю, поэтому мы будем праздновать день рождения Шрилы Говинды Махараджа 8 декабря.
